A small sandwich & salad shop tucked away on Powerline Road that is totally worth checking out for lunch. The owners/staff are very friendly and the food is super fresh and delicious. They make their focaccia in-house and you get 5 choices to choose from. You really can't go wrong. I went with tomato, basil and garlic this time and it was amazing. Everything is prepped to order and is worth the wait. There is seating for about 12 inside and about 6-8 outside so you may have to wait if you're here at peak hours. My only complaint is the hours - Mon-Fri 10:30-2:30.. But it's a nice lunch treat if you're in the area!

Excellent fresh sandwiches and salads. I have had the italian, eggplant, tuna, grilled chicken, and grilled sausage. The bread is freshly baked and all ingredients are fresh and flavorful.

If I could give 10 stars, I would.. Sandwiches are unique and delicious! So good I ate the whole thing, even though I wanted to save half!! I cannot recommend this tiny little gem enough. Sure, maybe the sandwiches are not massive which could make them seem a little pricey. You might even have to wait a while because this tiny place is understaffed with all their orders. You might even have to take your order to go because there's nowhere to sit!! However, you're not gonna feel too ashamed licking your fingers after everything is said and done.

I guess it's time to update my review since I've now been to the new location (they moved across the street into the Chili's Plaza) - which means, they have ample dine in space which will definitely draw more people in. I set up the first of many lunch time UYEs for folks in the area, and must note, on a Tuesday, this place was packed. By 12:30ish people were somewhat standing around trying to find a spot to sit and eat their delicious sandwiches. As I noted before - somethings are still the same. 1) La Mia Focaccia is one of the best specialty sandwich shops around. The sandwiches are geared towards the Italian taste buds - think mozzarella, prosciutto, roasted red peppers etc. 2) This is not the cheapest of lunch options and you'll most likely end up spending just over $10 for a sandwich and drink (sandwich does some with a small amount of pasta salad as a side). HOWEVER - if you have self restraint (I don't), you can easily turn this into a two meal sandwich which makes the pricing not awful. And honestly, with the new sit down option, the pricing doesn't seem half bad. Your food is brought to your table when it's ready, so there is some amount of service here :) Let's talk about bread. I have an obsession with focaccia and hands down vote it the best bread. Side note my mother makes a fantastic focaccia and my cousin's have nicknamed it "devil's bread" because it's so damn addictive. Ok, so that aside, focaccia is the name of the game here, hence the name, and you get your choice of 5 or 6 different focaccia options for your sandwich. I don't think there's a bad option, and all of them are displayed at the ordering counter for your viewing pleasure. There are two ordering stations, which makes the longish line move quickly, however, the soda machine is placed within the ordering line, so getting your drink filled can be a bit tricky - the only downside I see here. Overall, they've taken a great space, cleaned it up, made their dining area quite appealing and are still serving their fabulous sandwiches. Well done! Definitely deserving of 5 stars now!
